Pace secures next landmark development in sought-after Fitzroy

Pace is cementing its position as a dynamic residential developer in Melbourne’s North, acquiring another coveted site at 223-231 Johnston St, Fitzroy.

"This latest acquisition supports our vision to make another significant contribution to the North’s continued evolution."

The prominent 2,411 square metre site boasts an enviable location on the corner of Johnston St, Gore St and Argyle St – set to become home to Pace’s next landmark residential project.

“This latest acquisition supports our vision to make another significant contribution to the North’s continued evolution,” said Pace Managing Director, Shane Wilkinson.

The Johnston Street site is just 4 kilometres from the CBD and is in one of the most well-connected locations in Melbourne, with great public amenity and transport.

Pace have engaged SJB Architects to look at architectural possibilities complementary to this prestigious location. In addition to premium residential apartments, a sizeable commercial space on the ground floor will also be considered for a variety of hospitality or retail uses.

Pace is well-acquainted with Melbourne’s north, with a number of prominent projects completed in the area including Pace of Collingwood at 75 Wellington St, which settled earlier this year, Pace of Northcote at 5 Beavers Rd, 808 Sydney Rd in Brunswick, the architecturally acclaimed Pace of Abbotsford at 247 Johnston St and 51 Langridge, an awarded commercial development in Collingwood. Pace has also embarked on a further residential project within Coburg’s Pentridge precinct.
