Site Acquired: A Piece of Melbourne's Past

The story starts in 1873, when seven Presentation Sisters sailed from Limerick to Melbourne. They’d been invited by a local parish priest, Father Corbett, who needed help getting Catholic education off the ground in the area. Presentation Convent Windsor opened that Christmas, with classes starting the following January. What grew from there became a fixture of the neighbourhood for the next 150 years.

Our vision is a staged residential development built around the site’s extraordinary heritage. It holds deep significance for the local community, and we’re honoured to take on its custodianship — giving it a new life while keeping its history front and centre.
