The building
A nod to the original working factories of Collingwood’s past, 51 Langridge maintains a textural brick façade with a strong colonnade rhythm. Rising up the building are a series of gardens and outdoor breakout spaces, offering reprieve from the workday and a moment to capture the warmth of the north-facing sun.
Initiatives include multiple double-height gardens, extensive end-of-trip facilities, bicycle parking, rainwater harvesting and a productive rooftop. Externally, a bold, green stair runs up the entire building, creating a bold design gesture which also contributes significantly to the ethos of the project – as a workplace that puts wellness first.
