Cubitt Place is open for business.

Designed to disrupt the workplace paradigm, Cubitt Place isn’t just home to thoughtful office spaces and premium end-of-trip facilities – it’s where you’ll find Pace Development Group’s headquarters. So, what made this project a winning candidate for our letterhead, and why are businesses clamouring to be part of this eminent tech and business precinct?

For us, it was about proximity, amenity and flexibility.

This architecturally distinct building was delivered in June 2024, in collaboration with award-winning studios Jackson Clements Burrows (JCB) and Splinter Society. A 2-minute walk from Richmond station, Cubitt Place is positioned within Cremorne’s bustling creative corridors, merging concrete forms with thoughtful landscaping in a harmonious blend of industrial and organic elements.

The building responds to the needs of a post-COVID workforce; one that values rest and rejuvenation on par with productivity and performance. Walk, run, or ride to work with private lockers and abundant bicycle parking on premises. After hours, hit the infrared sauna, plunge pool and steam room – or take to the rooftop restaurant, Amatrice, where uninterrupted views and Italian dishes await.

Cubitt Place offers one-of-a-kind fit-out opportunities with room and adaptability for different work modes, natural light, and private outdoor terraces. Design-conscious and deliberate, flexible floorplates invite tenants to create an environment that truly reflects their company character; and not the other way around. Out of office, this postcode comes to life with exceptional walkability and ample access to world-class sporting, dining and entertainment venues.

Exemplary of our expertise.

You don’t need to be a Cremorne local to notice that this suburb has seen much transformation over the last decade, and Cubitt Place is no exception. This project demonstrates our commitment to excellence, long-standing partnerships and end-to-end capabilities.

Our team went into the project with a detailed understanding of the area, its challenges, and ways to overcome them – specifically around transport and traffic management. From councilors to fit out specialists, residents and retailers, we managed every stage of the construction process, upholding stakeholder relationships and exacting standards along the way.

"Placed on a small, triangular parcel of land within Cremorne’s tapered streets, the site presented several challenges and required significant infrastructure upgrades, including water and electrical. Given the volume of construction activity around Cremorne, we partnered with other developers and builders in the area to manage the infrastructure upgrades and create efficiencies. "

Swap ‘open-plan’ for optimally designed.

Today, Cubitt Place is where we lay the modern foundations for Melbourne’s future projects. Our design-led space fosters a sense of belonging, collaboration and commitment to quality. Home to a ground floor café and rooftop restaurant, both run by the Amatrice team, Cubitt Place could be where you catalyse your most innovative chapter yet.
