Henry Windsor Level 1 Slab Poured

Construction Update - October 2014 - Published October 2014

The first floor transfer slab was poured on Monday and the precast walls are already standing to third floor on the southern boundary.

Formwork stripping in the basement car parks is well underway and the shell of the substation is now complete. Work has begun on the on first floor internal walls, stairs and lift shaft.

The feature brickwork is now visible above the hoarding on the northern side of the building and looks sensational. In coming weeks the building will grow much faster as first floor was the final transfer slab and all above are much easier to construct.

The bathroom tiles are on their way from Europe and we are aiming to begin fit out works on the lower floors mid-January.
